How did Gandhi react to violence between Hindus and Muslims

History
2 answers:
Bumek [7]3 years ago
6 0

Gandhi never wanted Hindus and Muslims to fight. In fact, he saw people as... well, people.

Gandhi always cared for the lives of the Indian people, no matter what their religion was. No one back then recognized the fact that India is multireligious except for Gandhi. He wanted to make others realize that they could only live in peace if they just learn to respect each other. Gandhi always stood up for injustice anywhere involving anyone and faced the consequences for that as well. What Gandhiji tried to teach the world is to seek solutions, not revenge or violence.

The film was controversial even before its release and has remained so ever since; it has been called "the most controversial film ever made in the United States Lincoln is portrayed positively, unusual for a narrative that promotes the Lost Cause ideology. The film portrays African Americans (many of whom are played by white actors in blackface) as unintelligent and sexually aggressive toward white women. The film presents the Ku Klux Klan as a heroic force necessary to preserve American values and a white supremacist social order so it ended in many people seeing this as a vary racist film
