Regular Polygon Area = (# sides * side length * apothem) / 2
Regular Polygon Area = (6 * 13 * 11.3) / 2
Area = 881.40 / 2 = 440.70 square miles

ycow [4]
Distance = rate * time

trip there,  120 = 55 *t
                   t = 2 and 2/11 hours

trip back,  120 = r * (2.75 - 2.181818181)  round trip time - time to get there
                 120 = r * .568181818181818
                  r = 211.2 miles per hour

thinking maybe you did not copy the problem accurately...thats pretty fast.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS MATH
Rasek [7]
(x,y)=(x1+k(x2-x1),y1+k(y2-y1))
 k is determined by writing the numerator over the sum of the numerator and the denominator of the original ratio.
 k=3/(3+7)=3/10.
 Point A is located at (5, 10) and point B is located at (20, 25).
 (x,y)=(5+(3/10)*(20-5),10+(3/10)*(25-10))
 (x,y)= (9.5,14.5)
 The answer would be
 (9 1/2, 14 1/2)
