Answer:

1. There is less variation in temperature of Aquatic habitats

2. The movement of water up trees results from capillary action.

3. Provides insulation to aquatic habitats

4. Evaporative cooling

Explanation:

1. The specific heat of water is high and is characterized as measure of heat required to result in the rise in temperature of 1 g of a substance by 1^{\circ}C.

Due to this, water can limit changes in temperature thus there isn't much variation in temperature.

2. Capillary action is the motion of water inside the spaces of a permeable material because of forces of cohesion, adhesion and surface tension.

Thus Cohesion forces results in the motion of water up trees.

3. Water has one most significant property where solid structure is less dense than fluid or liquid form that protects aquatic environments. As water in its solid form is less dense, in this manner ice coasts on the lake's surface that protects the water beneath from solidifying and valuable to aquatic life forms.

4. Heat of vaporization of water is high, which is characterized as the measure of energy expected to transform 1 gram of a liquid substance to a gas at steady temperature.

Along these lines when water particles evaporates, the surface they dissipate from gets cooler, referred to as evaporative cooling.

Answer:

1. High specific heat

Aquatic habitats do not vary much in temperature

2. Cohesion

Water moves up trees due to capillary action

3. Solid form is less dense than liquid

Insulates aquatic habitats

4. High heat of vaporization

Evaporative cooling

Explanation:

Water´s high specific heat can lessen variations in temperature, so aquatic habitats don´t fluctuate in temperature.

Capillary action is a result of adhesion, cohesion forces, and surface tension.

Since solid water is less dense, ice that floats on the surface insulates the water below, providing an insulated aquatic habitat.

Water´s high heat of vaporization results in evaporative cooling.

Please help!!! Will mark Brainliest!!
Drupady [299]

The tundra is a biome on the Earth that covers approximately 20% of its land mass, and it is almost exclusively located in the Northern Hemisphere. It is an environment that helps in the regulation of the CO2 in the atmosphere, and it is one of the biggest natural CO2 sinks. The living organisms in the tundra, are using the CO2 for their needs, thus removing parts of it from the atmosphere, and when they die, because the tundra is cold, and the decomposition is very slow, most of the CO2 remains trapped, and doesn't go into the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the global warming is slowly changing the tundra, and prolongs the summer periods, thus reducing the permafrost period of the year, so the decomposition of the living organisms is getting quicker, and also bigger percentage of the CO2 from them gets to the atmosphere.
