The temperature difference from midmight to noon is 8 degrees.
From 12:00am to 6am, the temperature decreased 10 degrees, but from 6am to 12pm, it rose 18, so add -10 and 18 fo get 8 degrees.

Answer:

a taco is 1.25 and a drink is 0.95

Step-by-step explanation:

tacos = t

drinks = d

5t + 3d = 9.10

3t + d = 4.70

this is a simultaneous equation so times the first one by one and the second by 3 and then take them away from each other and solving to get

t = 1.25 and d=0.95

one drink is $0.95

one taco is $1.25

Hope this helps!!

Please help , will grant brainliest if correct !!
Leokris [45]

Answer:

- 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The average rate of f(x) in the closed interval [ a, b ] is

\frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}

Here [ a, b ] = [ - 2, 2 ]

f(b) = f(2) = 9 ← from table value of f(x) for x = 2

f(a) = f(- 2) = 25 ← from table value of f(x) for x = - 2, thus

average rate of change = \frac{9-25}{2-(-2)} = \frac{-16}{4} = - 4

Estimate to the nearest 0.5 unit and classify the extrema for the graph of each function.
VLD [36.1K]

f(x) = x^3+x^2-x

Finding the extreme point :

f'(x)=3x^2+2x-1=0\\\\3x^2+3x-x-1=0\\\\3x(x+1)-1(x+1)=0\\\\(3x-1)(x+1)=0\\\\x=\dfrac{1}{3}\ ,\ x=-1

Now,

f''( x ) at x = 1/3 and -1 is :

f''(x)=6x+2\\\\f''(1/3)=4  \\\\f''(-1)=-4

Therefore, it is maximum at x = -1 and minimum at x = 1/3 .

Hence, this is the required solution.
