Answer:

Add native plants to a suburban garden because you are adding already flourishing wildlife

Sea Urchins are primary consumers because they eat the kelp

Sun -> Grass -> Rabbit because grass lives off of photosynthesis from the sun and rabbit eats the grass

I think there would be more biomass in grass because there is a lot more spread throughout the savannah while elephants are way bigger there is less of them.

4. A bacterium is discovered with new mutated form of isocitrate dehydrogenase that catalyzes the same reaction but produces hyd
Ksju [112]
Isocitrate + NAD+ -> a-ketoglutarate + CO2 + H2

The amount of ATP produced from one molecule of glucose will decrease because NADH is no longer produced in the isocitrate dehydrogenase reaction. Without generation of this high energy electron carrier there will be less electrons from one molecule of glucose that are transferred to and through the electron transport chain. So there will be less protons (H+ ions) pumped into the intermembrane space. So there will be less of a H+ ion gradient across the inner mitochondrial membrane to drive the synthesis of ATP by ATP synthase.

Kruka [31]

Answer: The eastern population of mice will most likely to change their behavior and become diurnal ( perform most of their activity during day time).

As per the question, due to geographical isolation mice population becomes separated as eastern and western population. Eastern population is inhabited by owls that hunt at night.

Owls capture mice when they go out in search of food during night time. Over a period of time, mice most likely to change their behavior and become active during day time.

This prevents them from being captured by their predator during night time.
