I go to K12 and I take art, but I'm in 8th grade. I took art last year also though. But I don't have the answer key. Sorry. The lessons for art last year were really easy (the tests were easy too), maybe if you just read the lessons. :) Sorry that I couldn't help. :( I hope the test goes well. :D

What do you think of this statement?
bagirrra123 [75]

First Answer:

Assuming this is True or False^^

I think that the statement is absolutely TRUE!

Cooking is not always based on fact and measurment, its based on making up your own recipes and following traditions. Such as, learning how to make a mac and cheese recipe that had been passed down in the family! I have no idea what i'm going on about, but yes, I'd say this is true.

What was the name of the branch of Abstract Expressionism that had the artists using their whole bodies, almost like dancers, to
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

Action painters

Explanation:

The action painters were led by Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning, who worked in a spontaneous improvisatory manner often using large brushes to make sweeping gestural marks. Pollock famously placed his canvas on the ground and danced around it pouring paint from the can or trailing it from the brush or a stick. In this way the action painters directly placed their inner impulses onto the canvas.
