Throughout Emerson's writing, he explains his ideas on the importance of indivisuality. Emerson explains that society tends to have a negative effect on the growth of each individual’s independent spirit. When Emerson is writing about his ideas on travel and personal development though it is an unexpected opinion. Emerson elaborates about how traveling is just a temporary escape and wherever you choose to go, there will be more of the same kind of people with the same kind of problems. He encourages readers to hold on to their identity, or who they are, while they are away and he convinces the readers that wherever they end up is only a "fool's paradise," it won't actually fix anything like you assume it will.

There is one mistake in each of the sentences:
sdas [7]

Answer: He was going to buy three things: chairs, tables, and utensils.

Explanation:

The most basic rule for using commas is that they are used to separate independent clauses joined by coordinating conjunctions (and, but, for, or, nor, so, yet).

However, it might be difficult to remember that this rule still applies when we want to separate three or more words, phrases, or clauses written in a series. We must not forget to place a comma before "and".

Passage A:
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

Both passages set up that the story itself is dangerous, with the parents in the first one confiscating the magazine, trying to protect the author from getting involved. The second one shows the danger by explaining that even writing something fictional based off of the topic could endanger the author and their family.
