Answer:

The two numbers are 476 and  284

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

He used an even number of blocks

The number of blocks is between 700 and 800

The number of blocks is the sum of two

To Find :

Two number = ?

Solution:

The sum of  an odd number and an even number id always odd. So  423 can be eliminated

So two numbers must be any of the 4 remaining options

Its also given that the number lies between 700 and 800. So the sum should be greater than 700 and lesser than 800

by trial and error method

352+476 = 828 ( greater than 700 but greater than 800, condition fails)

352+326 = 678  ( lesser than 700 but lesser than 800, condition fails)

352+284 = 636 ( lesser than 700 but lesser than 800, condition fails)

476+326 = 802 ( greater than 700 but greater than 800, condition fails)

476+284 = 760 (  greater than 700 and lesser than 800)

Lamar works as a tutor for $7 an hour and as a waiter for $8 an hour . this month he worked a combined total of 92 hours at his
ira [324]

t is the number of hours Lamar worked as a tutor
We know that he worked for 92 hours total, so he worked 92-t hours as a waiter.

So his earnings are: 7t + 8(92-t) = 736 -t dollars

This expression seems logical as if Lamar worked 0 hours as a tutor and 92 as a waiter his earnings would be 8*92 = 736
If he worked as a tutor for 92 hours it would be 7*92= 644
736-92= 644
So our expression seems to be working.

Find m∠ABC in the picture. (it's not solving for x.)
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

The answer would be 6º

Step-by-step explanation:

first we know that a straight lin is always 180º

so since we know that the angle outside of the triangle is 110º we can do 180º -110º

then we get the measuerment for angle C :70º

since we dont know the measurements of the other angles but know that a full triangle is equal to 180º we make this equation

2+6x+12x+70=180

then we solve

72+18x=180

-72         -72

18x=108

/18    /18

x=6

then we plug in the x value to find the angle measurement

2+6(6)

2+36

38º

your answer is m<CAB is 38º
