Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was very vocal in the civil rights for freedom and the rights of black people. He had Christian beliefs and nonviolence in what he was doing. 

Not many agreed with him and they tried to stop him for what he was doing. Many believe that he was doing to much and becoming to famous to soon as to why he was killed. Me I believe he was a wonderful man who made others feel threaten by his work he was doing and his Christian ways.

This was followed up with the "March for our lives" event on March 24th of this year, advocating for stricter gun control laws.
