Remember SOHCAHTOA

Sine- opposite/hypotenuse
Cosine- adjacent/hypotenuse
Tangent- opposite/adjacent

Look at the angle (x) you are trying to figure out and pick which one of these it is.

In your calculator, do the equation first to get a decimal

Then press whichever one you chose on the calculator, so if you got like 0.2 by doing opposite/adjacent for tangent, you would type in 0.2 and then the TAN button

hope this makes sense!!

If f(x( =1/9x-2 what is f-1(x)
Levart [38]
You first switch f(x) with x in this equation <span>x=<span>1<span>9f(x)−2</span></span></span> Then you solve for f(x). <span>9f(x)−2=<span>1x</span></span> <span>9f(x)=<span>1x</span>+2</span> <span>f(x)=<span>1<span>/9x</span></span>+<span>2/9</span></span> Then you simply repalace f(x) with f^-1(x) It will look like this <span><span>f−</span>1(x)=<span>1<span>/9x</span></span>+<span>2/<span>9
Hope i could help

Find the circumference and area of a circle with a diameter of 22 inches.
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

  Circumference=22\pi\;inches \\\\Area =121\pi \;inches^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of the circle=22\;inches

Radius=\dfrac{22}{2} =11\;inches

Circumference of a circle:

            =2\times \pi \times r

            =2\times \pi \times 11\\\\=22\pi \;inches

Area of the circle:

                  =\pi \times r^2

                 =\pi \times 11\times 11\\\\=121\times \pi \\\\=121\pi \;inches^2

How many different 7-digit telephone numbers are possible if the first digit cannot be 0, but the last two digits must be 0?
solniwko [45]
The first digit can only range from 1-9, resulting in 9 possible options. The next four digits can range from 0-9, resulting in 10 options for each. Since the last two digits remain the same, they do not affect the sample size. Using the fundamental counting principle, we can find the amount of telephone numbers possible in the following equation.
9 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 \times 1 \times 1 \\ 90000
