Be friendly at first with whomever you like, it is easier to get that person as a girlfriend if you have common groind; a friendship so it will be less akward for the both of you then slowly show her things that you like her be able to make her laugh but dont try to hard talk about her to your friends but not on no weird stuff then slowly make your moves like hand holding huggin kisses on the cheek there fore and so on and be protective over her but not possesive you know just show her you care

Well first thing is, try not to be super obvious. I know people will tell you to be as obvious as it gets, but trust me, you don't want to do that because she might not like you, one, and two, people might pick on you for it. Then be nice and caring like a friend or a big brother would be. Be the shoulder she leans on. Be funny and fun to hang out with. Try to hang out with her as much as possible because I know that's what works for me. The longer I hang out with a boy, the more I like him because I know more about him. I'm not going to go and crush on someone I don't even know. Lastly, if she shows interest or her friends giggle or nudge or do anything to her when they spot you, take advantage of that. Make sure that she knows you care. And eventually tell her you like her and you want to know if she wants to go out with you. These ways work. Trust me, I'm a girl and any boy I give advice to usually gets a girlfriend really fast. Wish that "male" luck. :^)

Why phytoplankton biomass decreases between June and July
timurjin [86]

Answer:

The cause of phytoplankton blooms has traditionally been attributed to seasonal changes in ‘bottom-up’ environmental factors controlling phytoplankton division rates, such as nutrients and light 3,4,5,6,7. However, seasonal changes in phytoplankton biomass (P) represented by the biomass-specific net rate of change (r) always reflect the interplay between two dominant terms, the phytoplankton division rate (μ) and the sum of all loss (l) rates (e.g., grazing, viruses, sinking):

Explanation:

The photosynthetic production of organic carbon by marine phytoplankton plays a key role in regulating atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, such that without this biological uptake it is estimated that present day atmospheric CO2 concentrations would be 200 ppm (50%) higher1. Phytoplankton blooms in the temperate and polar oceans play a disproportionally large role in ocean CO2 uptake, as well as being critical ecological events to which the migration patterns of marine animals, ranging from zooplankton to whales, have evolved2.
