His confidence is transformed by the crowd’s response.

Scotty is described as being a "quavering husk...just moments before." This shows his lack of confidence and anxiety about being on stage. Once the crowd's enthusiasm and excitement for his performance reached him, it is described as "lifting him off his stool...unleashing something strong, charismatic, and fierce." This change in his demeanor shows his confidence grow in response the crowd.

Summary of the story throwing fire
Phantasy [73]
Hello

<span>In Throwing Fire, historian Alfred W. Crosby looks at hard, accurate throwing and the manipulation of fire as unique human capabilities. Humans began throwing rocks in prehistory and then progressed to javelins, atlatls, bows and arrows. We learned to make fire by friction and used it to cook, drive game, burn out rivals, and alter landscapes to our liking. Our exploitation of these two capabilities figured in the extinction of many species, and may have played a role in the demise of Neanderthals.

Determine the main idea of lines 843-861 from beowulf by paraphrasing them
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

These are the lines that are found toward the end of the poem. Beowulf is already dead - he has defeated the dragon, but has also died in the process. Before his death, he instructed his men to build a tower in his honor, so this part of the poem talks about that. It talks about how the Geats made this monument for their late king, and how they grieved his death by telling his greatest accomplishments, like defeating Grendel and his mother. Then they hid the dragon's treasures in the tower, as per Beowulf's instructions, so that no one could ever find them.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Type of parallel: Synthetic

A parallel grammatical construction form implies that every part of a sentence uses similar grammatical composition.

The different types of parallel structures that can be used include synonymous parallel, antithetical parallel, climatic parallel and emblematic parallel.

Parallelism is seen in poetry when lines are deliberately placed together to build comparison, contrast, or enrichment of a meaning.

Synthetic parallelism includes the completion or expansion of the idea of the first part in the second part.

The type of Parallel structure used here is Synthetic parallelism as the Psalm here begins to state that the Lord is good after which it extends that similar notion by saying that his mercy is everlasting.
