The literary technique being used is imagery. The author uses specific language in order to convey the idea that the day was cloudy and gray so that the sun could not be seen. The sentence is able to create a picture in your mind of this day because of the use of the literary technique, imagery.

It’s not as complicated as you think it would be, by reading the sentence you look at key words that would help out like “used to” or “one day”, If you pay attention to these then you should be able to determine the past and present tenses with the given words and use them correctly

1. can

2. can

3. were

4. could

5. able

6. to

7. been

What would it be different if it was told from jem's perspective or calpunia's? Why?
guajiro [1.7K]
It would be different because in part 2 of the book Jem starts to get mature and Jem doesn't understand things as much as he does. If Calpurnia was the person the story revolved around it would be different because she is colored, were Scout is white.

Hope this helps!!!!

What is the moral of The kite Runner?

Early in the novel, when Baba warns that a youngster who doesn't stand up for himself becomes a man who can't stand up to anything, the moral bar Amir must clear to earn his redemption. Amir doesn't speak out for himself as a boy. However, this story's two primary themes are of the main themes in the book The Kite runners are home and love of home because both the author and the protagonist, Amir, are immigrants from Afghanistan who now call the United States home.
