In literature, movies and similar science fiction is a genre that focuses on the development of science along with imaginative and futuristic scenarios including concepts such as space exploration, time travel or life outside the Earth. Additionally, science fiction is divided in different sub-genres that include hard sci-fi that focuses on scientific accuracy to create science-fictional works; adventure sci-fi that mixes adventure genre with science fiction; gadget sci-fi that focuses on possible devices in the future and social sci-fi that also includes the development of science and technology but mainly focuses on the social aspects or the effects this can have on human societies. Therefore,e the form or sub-genre of science fiction that focuses on the effect science has on humans is social sci-fi.
