The Golden Fleece has frequently been compared to the ram sacrifice substituted for Isaac in Genesis 22:9-18, as detailed on my page about the Golden Fleece as a divine covenant. Similarly, some have thought that the ship Argo was in fact a garbled recollection of Noah's Ark.
But these are hardly the only places where the Argonaut myth has been thought to cross paths with the Bible. In the field of "alternative" history, there is no end to such comparisons. The Russian Anatoly Fomenko, who believes that the Middle Ages were a British invention designed to deny Russia her true glory, believes the Argonauts' story was a virtually scene-by-scene replay of the Bible, including elements of Exodus and Genesis, and much more:
The legends [of the Argonauts] resemble the accounts of wars and campaigns of both Joshua and Alexander the Great to a great extent. The myth of the Argonauts might be yet another duplicate of medieval chronicles describing the wars of the [12th to 14th] centuries [...]
Fomenko also thinks Jason, Medea, and the snake parallel Adam, Eve, and the serpent, a suggestion made long before by Edward Burnaby-Greene in his 1780 translation of the Argonautica of Apollonius. Greene thought the lovers' escape from Colchis paralleled the expulsion from Eden in Milton's Paradise Lost (p. 147). Hope this helps! ~ Autumn :)

To have a house that you can call your own is one of the biggest achievements that a person can accomplish. To achieve that goal, you will have to harness three kinds of resources. The first is your natural resources or this could be the building materials you are going to use to construct your house. It can wood, clay or cement, steel and other related materials. Then you need human resources. These are the people who will build your house. These are the carpenters, bricklayers, welders and other laborers who are needed to create your home. Lastly there is the capital goods or things you will stock your house with such as food, furniture and other things that you value. Once your house is complete, you will now enjoy all the comforts of home. It is not easy to build a house these days. A lot of people would want a house of their own. To have a home no matter how big or how small is a great thing. This is true when you give all that you got. One is sure and that is the fact that there is no place like home.
The Lord of the Flies is a pig's head on a stick, which is severed from the body of a sow which is hunted and killed by Jack and his hunters. Jack puts it on a sharpened stick, and leaves it as a gift to the beast.
The parachuted man is, like the Lord of the Flies, just an innocent happening. Nothing scary. But the boy's imaginations and fears, just as Simon's did to the pig's head, make it into a beast. It's all in the mind - and the "evil" of the beast is too. What makes them scared - and what makes them behave badly - is the darkness of their own hearts
