Answer:

The wind was as soft as your kiss,

My throat is dried like my heart when its broken,

And when I fell, you caught me like my words,

And I am tied up, like a secret un spoken,

The roses white, in this world of no color,

We whisper like the wind in the summer,

And when it rains like my tears, but from clouds in the sky,

I get to see the softness in your blue broken eyes.

Friends are like chocolate cake

You can never have too many.

Chocolate cake is like heaven -

Always amazing you with each taste or feeling.

Chocolate cake is like life with so many different pieces.

Chocolate cake is like happiness, you can never get enough of it."

Throughout the poem, two things are compared which is a simile.

Why does nick agree to arrange a meeting between daisy and gatsby?
alexgriva [62]
Nick agrees to arrange a meeting between Daisy and Gatsby because he had learned a lot about their past relationship and he wanted to make Gatsby happy.
He was aware of the fact that Gatsby had been loving Daisy for a very long time, and that she was actually the reason why he was living there and why he became rich. He also knew that Daisy still had feelings for Gatsby, and he just wanted them to be together and love each other.

In "helen grey" what does the narrator suggest will be the outcome if helen grey does not change her ways
Butoxors [25]
I had the same problem with this question and I know I'm late, but I am answering it for future students who may have trouble with this question. I believe the narrator is saying that if Helen Grey does not change her ways she will be unhappy. Men think she is beautiful, but because her personality is ugly they will find her unattractive. She will be bitter. In the poem it states, "Take heed, you yet may trip and fall, and no man care to stretch his arms."
