Why did so many African Americans go north ?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
Sharecropping, agricultural depression, the widespread infestation of the boll weevil, and flooding also provided motives for African Americans to move into the Northern Cities. The lack of social opportunities from Jim Crow laws also motivated African Americans to migrate Northward.

Supporters of Prohibition, such as preacher Billy Sunday, expected that Prohibition would encourage people to become religious.
Gnoma [55]
Supporters of the Prohibition, such as the preacher Billy Sunday, expected that the Prohibition would encourage people to become religious, decrease the violent crime rate, fix the problems of society, and put the liquor distillers out of business. Widespread religious fervor and religious revival were central features of the Prohibition era. Preachers announced that the millennium was coming soon and, as a result, people stopped drinking hard spirits and attempted to live a life of perfection. This in turn, decreased the violent crime rate and attempted to fix the problems of society.

PLEASE HELP ASAP 40 POINTS! What focus should Oklahoma take for the future of fossil fuels? Write a letter to the government abo
Sever21 [200]
Dear Trump,
In the future, I believe that the state of Oklahoma should not use fossil fuels as the primary source of energy. Instead, I think the state should create a miniverse, where inside that miniverse, the inhabitants can use physical labor to create a source of power where 20% is used for the inhabitants of the miniverse, and the remaining 80% should be sent through the miniverse to power our homes and car batteries. This may sound like slavery with extra steps to you, but if you disagree, you're probably getting laid in college or something. This offer is completely valid, and it should be taken into consideration in exchange of fossil fuels, which continues to pollute our planet. Take note, a miniverse causes no pollution.

Yours truly,
