Is canada a country that developed with the aid of human capital
dybincka [34]
In a way every country developed with the aid of human capital. You could argue that  some countries are more based on natural resources, such as oil, but all countries need human capital to thrive. In this context, Canada with its comparatively harsh climate needed the aid of human capital more than countries in more favorable climatic conditions.

What theme is expressed in both of these excerpts?
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

From the excerpt of "Escape", the theme is helplessness.

The theme for "To Live" is self discovery.

Explanation:

From the excerpt of Escape, the writer is sharing his thought about his helplessness as he sees himself melting like a block of ice, not feeling his stomach, melting then freezing up again.

In "To Live" , the writer talks about his journey of self discovery and listing education as one of the paths to self discovery. He opines that it is difficult to know one's self because people see us differently from the way we view ourselves. Our lives are made up of a lot of trials and error.
