Chris heard the garage door open. He hadn't realized that his brother would be home so soon. Thankfully, he had put everything b

ack where it belonged, and Keith would never be the wiser. He couldn't believe he was about to lie to his brother, but . . . Keith can never know, Chris thought to himself. It's for his own good.
Chris flopped down on the couch and tried to look casual as Keith walked in the back door. "What are you doing here?" Keith asked, surprised to see his little brother.

"Can't I come by to say hi?" Chris asked, his voice gravelly. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"No, it's great to see you," Keith said cautiously. "I'm just surprised, that's all."

Chris stood up suddenly, anger exploding inside him. "Fine, if you don't want to see me, I'll leave!" He turned and slammed the door in Keith's shocked face.Which statement best describes the external conflict in this passage?  A.Chris is worried that Keith will find out that he is lying. B.Chris is angry at Keith for questioning the reason behind his visit. C.Chris is mad that Keith doesn't want to spend more time with him. D.Chris is upset with himself for lying to Keith.

Read the following passage carefully.
olganol [36]
It is written in first person point-of-view, therefore I agree with how the author has wrote this. I would use the same, as it describes how he feels and what he is thinking. Hope this helps. :)
