Jackson is talking to the american citizens and christian community and arguing that the indians should be removed and argued that if this happened Americans would be free to travel west, and America would gain territory. These ideas were part of the american manifest of destiny to move west and spread democracy and americn values. He gave the speech during the state of the union or annual address and he loathed the indians to a point he wanted to kill them all.
