<span>1 12 f(x) = g(x)
or 112*(</span>14x3 + 28x2 – 46x )= <span>2x + 7
and </span>112*(42 +56 – 46x )= <span>2x + 7
</span>112*(98 – 46x )= <span>2x + 7
</span>and 10.976- 5.152x=2x+7
and -5.152x-2x=7-10.976
we have -5.154x= -10.969
and x= 10.969/5154

What are the factors of the quadratic function graphed below. Please show work , please help
dlinn [17]

Answer:

x and (x - 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

y = a(x - h)² + k

h = 3    k = -2

y = a (x - 3)² -2

For point (0 , 0) on the function

0 = a (0 - 3)² -2

0 = 9a - 2

a = 2/9

a (x - 3)² -2 = 2/9 (x² - 6x + 9) - 2 = 2/9 * x * (x - 6) + 2 - 2 = 2/9 * x * (x-6)

Need help understanding the formula
ololo11 [35]

For this case we have the following equation:

H (t) = -16t ^ 2 + vt + s

Where,

t: time

v: initial speed

s: initial height

Substituting values we have:

H (t) = -16t ^ 2 + 15t + 4

By the time the ball hits the ground we have:

-16t ^ 2 + 15t + 4 = 0

From here, we clear the value of time:

Using the quadratic equation we have:

t=\frac{-15+/-\sqrt{15^2-4(-16)(4)}}{2(-16)}

Doing the calculations we have:

t1=-0.217\\t2=1.154

Discarding the negative root, we have that the time is:

t=1.154

Answer:

it takes the ball to hit the floor about:

1.15 seconds

Question 1 <br> Convert from parametric to rectangular:<br> x=t+4, y = t^2
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

  y = x^2 +8x +16

Step-by-step explanation:

t can be written in terms of x, then substituted into the equation for y.

  x = t -4

  x + 4 = t

  y = t^2 = (x +4)^2

  y = x^2 +8x +16
