Monet and Renoir painted together.

Oscar-Claude Monet was a French painter, a founder of French Impressionist painting and the most consistent practitioner of the movement's philosophy of expressing one's views before nature, particularly as applied to plein air landscape painting.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a French artist who became a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style.

Both Monet and Renoir were very good friends.

In fact, by the time European adventurers arrived in the 15th century A.D., scholars estimate that more than 50 million people were already living in the Americas. Of these, some 10 million lived in the area that would become the United States.
