SAT and ACT aren’t really different because both usually cover the same topics and the scores are used for college admission.

The SAT is generally taken by more high school students instead of the ACT (where I’m from. This might vary from place to place). The SAT tests math, reading, and writing if you choose to take the optional essay portion of the exam. The ACT focuses on science and social studies whereas the SAT has a math section and a reading section. I hope this helps!

What does the SAT reading test requires students to do?
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

When you take the Reading Test, you'll read passages and interpret informational graphics. Then you'll use what you've read to answer questions. Some questions ask you to locate a piece of information or an idea stated directly. But you'll also need to understand what the author's words imply.
