Answer:

There were 3 major ways Americans like to spend their days during this time era. Movies, Radio shows, and sports. During the era of silent films, theaters hired piano plays to provide music during the feature while subtitles explained the plot. Radio shows broadcast would do everything from classical music to comedy. These types of entertainments helped to entertain and spread american culture and unify the nation.

The last big one was sports. Ones such as baseball and boxing reached new heights of popularity in the 1920s, thanks to motion pictures and radios. News papers also helped to get college sports more popular in the states.
