How did the Declaration of Independence affect United States history?
Arisa [49]

Answer:

The Declaration of Independence affected the U.S. because it marked freedom. We fought a war over this and it had a great outcome. The Declaration affected other countries because the U.S. ended up joining the U.N. (united unions), and because of this we gained many allies for future wars and relationships.

What are the positive effect of imperialism to empires and colonies?
disa [49]

Answer:

Many colonies were economically more developed than they likely would have been had they not bee colonized. An example of this is India, a country which likely wouldn't be in the economic position it is today if it weren't for advances made under British rule. India would likely be even less developed than it is today and would probably be split into several if not many smaller nations/kingdoms.

Why was slavery profitable in the South?
mart [117]
Id say C but in reality it was more profitable because farmers had to pay slaves next to nothing if not anything and could have multiple workers in poor conditions so mass amounts of free workers saved them money and they could work them 24 hours a day until they dropped making the process go faster producing more than other competing farms. A sad truth from our past.. hope this helps!

DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

FDR wanted the US to join the Allied powers because of his sympathies to the British however before the attacks on Pearl Harbor when polled on going to war only 7-14 percent of Americans favored going to war. We now he had these sympathies because of his communications with Prime Minister Winston Churchill because they had created a friendship so FDR knew the situation the British were in so he lobbied congress to allow the US to at least do Lend Lease and also getting rid of bans in about the selling of arms to powers at war.
