How did Enlightenment ideas impact the development of economic, political, and religious structure in the western world?

It started a revolution around the world people started to think on thier own and this cause chaos scientists started to test and explain their theories this caused the church to revolt against the scientists, and when the church then found that they were wrong the people started to think about other things they were wrong about, this eventually causes the government to revolt against the church. People were now able to think on their own which is the main point.
