Federal prisons are safer because they house people who commit nonviolent crimes like fraud but the state prisons hold the murderers and other people who have committed violent crimes and thus they represent direct danger to society and need a different treatment.

anygoal [31]

Answer:

example of construct validity

Explanation:

Construct validity refers to how accurate a study can measure / provide data about the things it claim in the initial description. From the case above, Tara's study claim that it measure 'how social college students are with friends at lunch compared to at dinner' .

In order to measure this, Tara only use 'duration of eye contact' as an indicator of measure it.

The thing is, Social interaction is done with many type of actions, including spoken communication, skin contact, laughter, opened body language ,etc. Only using eye contact will cut off the people who rely their socialization process on these other actions. Because of this, we can say that this study is lacking in validity.

Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

The correct response is Option A: assimilating the comb into his existing schemes.

Explanation:

Jean Piaget is a well-known psychologist who specialized in the development of children. He developed several influential theories about the cognitive development of children. Infants at the age of 7 months like Darnell are just beginning to experience their world in a sensorimotor scheme where they learn by touching objects and often putting what they find into their mouths. Before Piaget’s theories became widely known, the common assumption was that children think like adults but are only less competent at it. Piaget's work was ground breaking because he showed that young children think in different ways than adults.
