Yes, it's c. Steamships or in this case, the steamboat became revolutionary as it changed traveling magnificently, allowing transportation to be much shorter which was a big +1 in the U.S industrial revolution. The locomotive (which was originally from Britain until someone illegally "spread the word") was also a transportation machine that made it shorter to travel from one location to another.
