Yes, it's c. Steamships or in this case, the steamboat became revolutionary as it changed traveling magnificently, allowing transportation to be much shorter which was a big +1 in the U.S industrial revolution. The locomotive (which was originally from Britain until someone illegally "spread the word") was also a transportation machine that made it shorter to travel from one location to another. The main purpose of the United Nations was to protect the members against aggression. The difference in the way that U.s and Soviet were affected after the war and political and economic differences, their postwar goals were very different. But the government poured money into science education.
