Answer:

when valuing companies with temporarily high growth rates.

Explanation:

Discounted dividend models are methods to assess a company's share price based on the dividends that company will distribute in the future. Also known by its name in English dividend discount model (DDM).

These models are based on the theory that the price of a share must be equal to the price of the dividends that the company will deliver, discounted at its net present value.

If the price of the share in the market is lower than the result obtained by the discounted dividend model, the share is undervalued and therefore it is advisable to buy. If, on the contrary, the market price is higher than the model, it is understood that the share price is too high.

Multistage dividend growth models

It is very difficult for a company to experience the same growth every year as the Gordon model assumes, so multistage models assume different growths for each period.

The most common is to use two or three stage growths, where at first the growths are higher but then tend to stabilize at a smaller constant growth. As for example in early stage companies.

The correct answer to the following question will be Option C.

  • Throughout the macroeconomic equilibrium, the aggregate supply curve becomes equivalent to something like the supply curve, the real GDP seems to be comparable to potential Output (GDP), however, if frictional as well as systemic unemployment seems to be the maximum total poverty throughout the longer term.
  • Consequently, whenever the economy seems to be in macroeconomic equilibrium, the argument which is not accurate would be that the businesses would have excess power.

So that Option C is the right answer.

Explanation:

A fix Payment for a specified period of time is called annuity. The Compounding of these payment on a specified rate is known as Future value of annuity. In this question $1,000 per year payment for 18 years at 6% interest rate is also an annuity.

We can calculate the amount of saving by calculating the future value of the given annuity.

Formula for Future value of annuity  is as follow

Future value of annuity = FV = P x ( [ 1 + r ]^n - 1 ) / r

Where

P = Annual payment = $1,000

r = rate of return = 6%

n = number of years = 18 years

Placing Value in the formula

As on the 18th payment no compounding interest income is accrued yet because grandparent made it now.

Future value of annuity = FV = $1,000 + 1,000 x ( [ 1 + 6% ]^18-1 - 1 ) / 6%

Future value of annuity = FV = $1,000 + 1,000 x ( [ 1 + 0.06 ]^17 - 1 ) / 0.06

Future value of annuity = FV = $29,213

Fill in the following table by calculating the official unemployment rate and the U-4 measure of labor underutilization.
Alja [10]

Answer and Explanation:

The computation of the official unemployment rate is shown below:

Official unemployment rate is

= Unemployed workers ÷ (Unemployed + employed) × 100

= 13,863,000 ÷ (13,863,000 + 139,323,000) × 100

= 9.05%

Now for the U-4 is

= (Unemployed workers + discouraged workers) ÷ (Unemployed + employed + discouraged workers) × 100

= (13,863,000 + $993,000) ÷ (13,863,000 + 139,323,000 + $993,000) × 100

= 9.64%

Therefore for exclduing the discouraged workers it may cause the offical rate to understate the underemployment true extent
