Answer:

The correct answer is B. During President Obama's first term in office, he continued the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

Explanation:

During his first term in office, Obama announced that he would keep Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in his cabinet, who was assigned to that position by George W. Bush. He promoted a change in the US war strategy by increasing the number of troops in Afghanistan and reducing the number of troops in Iraq. Similarly, on February 27, 2009, he announced that the combat missions in Iraq will conclude on August 31, 2010 and that the total withdrawal of US troops will be made in that country in 2011.

Answer:

C. an attempt to overthrow communist rule in Hungary

Explanation:

The Hungarian flag was bearing the Rakosi coat of arms, reflecting the communist rule in Hungary. The Hungarians though despised the Soviets and being under their control, so they made a revolution. The Hungarian Revolution had its own flag, and the flag was totally the same, apart from the Rakosi coat of arms being cut off from it, thus having a white gap in he center. The meaning of this feature on the flag was that the Hungarians want to overthrow the communist rule in the country, and that the communism and the Soviet rule doesn't have place in their society.

Which of the follow was true of women in the workplace in the late 1800
Brut [27]

In the beginning of the 1800"s women generally stayed at home but as the century progressed and the Civil War began the men went out to fight and the women were left home and had to provide for their families. It became a necessity for women to work to survive. When the men came home after the war, they obviously did not like their wives to work and this was the beginning of suffrage. Women couldn't vote at this time and education for women was frowned upon as well. It wasn't until the 1900's when all that changed.
