I've been conditioned into believing that you must look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful. The blueprint for the ideal looking person is found all over advertisements. We judge the best skin, hair, and face by what society tells us is generally flawless. I have considered a man to be attractive solely based on how popular he is. If everyone is saying he is attractive, then all of sudden he becomes good looking. We see celebrities that would otherwise be considered less attractive, yet because they are famous they become attractive. Society creates the ideal image of beauty, so that we can try to meet this unrealistic expectations.
