Bill Sunday, who was a flamboyant revivalist preacher, supported Prohibition and after speaking to many he proclaimed that that Alcohol was the god's worst enemy. <u>Many people also predicted that once alcohol was banned, there will be drop-in crimes in the society and prisons will be closed down due to lack of prisoners and families would become stronger and nation will be more United. Church bells were ringing all across the United States as church welcomed this news</u>.  This prohibition of liquor remained into effect for 13 years and many liquor industries were shut down in the United States because of that.
