“It is permissible to substitute fruit for vegetables or vice versa to meet the recommended nutritional guidelines” is the false statement.

Further Explanation:

Nutrition refers to the science which mainly interprets the communication of nutrients as well as other materials found in food in relation to the reproduction, growth, maintenance, disease and health of the organisms. This involves food consumption, assimilation, catabolism, absorption, and excretion. There are 2 main kinds of nutrients, namely, micronutrients and macronutrients. The 2 kinds of micronutrients include vitamins and minerals. Nutrition also provides phytochemicals which do not supply calories but serve many critical functions which ensure that the body operates properly.

Most of the fruit is known to be low in fat, calories, sodium naturally while they are rich in many essential nutrients like vitamins A, C, dietary fibre, folate, and potassium. It is highly advisable to consume a minimum of 2 to 4 servings of fruit per day, mainly whole fruit. Most of the vegetables are rich in potassium that aid in maintaining healthy blood pressure. This means that every fruit and vegetable is vital as it supplies important vitamins. However, fruits cannot be substituted for vegetables because then the body will lack those nutrients that it would have got from vegetables.

The right answer is false.

Fruits and vegetables are one of the rare cases or more we eat, the better we go, and the new dietary guidelines recommend eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Unfortunately for health, most people do not eat sufficient amounts of these important nutrients. This is unfortunate because the more fruits and vegetables you consume, the easier it will be to change your diet.

The health benefits of eating large amounts of fruits and vegetables has long been established, and many studies have shown that eating fruits and vegetables is a great way to increase your fitness level.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables (highly recommended) have been studied for their role in the prevention of many diseases, including heart disease, stroke, aging and even some forms of cancer.

Answer:

C

Explanation:

The investigator should give the subject comprehensive information about the new drug, including its side effects, discuss the pros and cons of both investigational drug and commercially available drug and then allow the subject to decide whether to withdraw from the research to take the new drug.

It is subject's will that he would either take that research treatment or would try the new treatment, but it is the investigator's duty to tell the subject all about the new drug, about its side effects and benefits, its costs and all other benefits or drawbacks.
