Remark

For any combination of out comes the probability is going to be

P(die and spinner) = Probability of the die * probability of the spinner.

P(die)

For any fair die the numbers of the results = 1/6.

The reason? A die has 6 faces. Any one of the faces could come up.

P(spinner) = 1 of light blue, red, yellow, dark blue and green

P(spinner) = 1/5

Answer

P(both) = 1/6 * 1/5 = 1/30

If one can of paint contains 2 2/5 gallons, how much paint is in one dozen cans of paint?
olasank [31]
Hi there!

Let’s take a look at the question.

One can of paint contains 2 2/5. We can make it easier by transforming the fraction (2 2/5) to a decimal (2.4). Now you have 2.4. Next, it says “one dozen”. One dozen refers to 12 cans. You’ll want to multiply 2.4 with 12.

Your answer is 28.8, or 28 4/5.

Hope this helps!
