Answer:

GI = 18;   GE = 12; IE = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

The key to the question is to realize or find out what a centroid is and what it does. You can solve this question by knowing three things.

  1. The centroid is the meeting point of the three medians ( a median is a line that connects the midpoint of the side opposite a given vertex).
  2. The centroid divides the median in a ratio of 2:1. The longest segment is from the vertex to the centroid.
  3. The shortest segment is from the centroid to the midpoint of the side opposite the given vertex.

Point two is what you have to focus on.

GE/EI = 2/1

GE = 12                        Given

Solution

GE / EI = 2/1                 Substitute for the given

12 / EI = 2/1                  Cross multiply

2*EI = 12 * 1                  Simplify the right

2 * EI = 12                     Divide by 2

EI = 12/2                        Divide

Part Two

GI = EI + GE

GI = 6 + 12

GI = 18

EI = 6

Paha777 [63]

Answer:

350% Increase

Step-by-step explanation:

If Julie creates a single bracelet for $2, then sells a single bracelet for $7, her profit increase would be 350%. Since $7 / $2 = 3.5, then 3.5 * 100 = 350%. Hope this helped!

True or false? A histogram and a relative frequency histogram, constructed from the same data, always have the same basic shape.
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

A. False

C. False

B. False

D. True

Step-by-step explanation:

Frequency histogram is denote the actual frequency of each observation or different class- intervals whereas Relative frequency distribution shows the fraction of that frequency to the total frequencies or the percent of that frequency to the total.

Thus the shape of both histogram are same.

A. False.

C. False

Since, Scale of the y-axis is different. But they has same shape.

B. False

Since, vertical scale is different for both histogram and horizontal scale is same.

D. True

Write an equation of the line that passes through the points (-2,-3) and (1-3)
Ronch [10]

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{-2}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{-3})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{1}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{-3}) \\\\\\ \stackrel{slope}{m}\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise} {\stackrel{y_2}{-3}-\stackrel{y1}{(-3)}}}{\underset{run} {\underset{x_2}{1}-\underset{x_1}{(-2)}}}\implies \cfrac{-3+3}{1+2}\implies \cfrac{0}{3}\implies 0

\bf \begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} \textit{point-slope form}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}\implies y-\stackrel{y_1}{(-3)}=\stackrel{m}{0}[x-\stackrel{x_1}{(-2)}] \\\\\\ y+3=0\implies y=-3
