Answer:

Less Casualties.

Explanation:

Although it doesn't sound like that would be the answer, the only other option to take out Japan was to invade Japan itself. That would led to millions dying, billions and billions in damage, and worse. The Atomic Bombs that were dropped were dropped for a reason. And that was to stop udder annihilation to Japan.

The correct answer is B) Japan was prolonging a terrible and bloody war that had an inevitable outcome.

The other options of the question were A) The US wanted to make Japan surrender before the Soviets arrived. C) An atomic bomb caused more damage more efficiently than B-29 bombers. D) Nations that failed to surrender to the Allies were asking for a nuclear attack.

Based on the excerpt, the sentence that best summarizes the Allies' reason for using the atomic bomb on Japan was that Japan was prolonging a terrible and bloody war that had an inevitable outcome.

The United States President Harry Truman made the difficult decision to launch the bombs because this was the only way to end a war that could have been unnecessary prolonged. Truman gave the order to the US Air Force and the bombs were launched over Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6, 1945, and August 9, 1945. Japan had to immediately surrender

Cultural Rights Vs. Women’s Rights: How do we strike a balance?
Readme [11.4K]
In an ideal world all human beings will be treated equally, regardless of their gender or ethnicity. In fact, article 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.” However in reality this is not practiced. Before it  discuss the challenges I will look at the background of both cultural and religious groups rights and women’s rights. Will Kymlicka (1995) lays down two different kinds of group rights. The first is minority rights that protects the interests of their members and secondly rights which impose restrictions on its members, such as some cultural groups that set prohibitions and regulations on women.

Read this sentence from Anne Frank: A Diary of a Young Girl.
alekssr [168]

Answer:

Its denotation is "personality;"; its connotation is "unavoidable."

According to the Sentence, this is TRUE that the denotation is personality and it's connotation is unavoidable.

Nature in here means like for example if you're a High Tempered person, or an "Always Sad Person", so like that nature, that's why, it's personality

Then, I don't I have that much explanation for the connotation, but it's "unavoidable".

so hence, your answer is D.

:D
