Rationalism is defined as the use of reason, the capacity to make sense of things, and the use of logic to establish and verify facts.

<u> Explanation: </u>

The rationalism has started as movement during the 17th Century. René Descartes was considered to be the father of rationalism. According to him the everlasting truth can be revealed and experienced through reason.

Emergence of this rationalism as changed the things around the world and those people who believed that good thought of reasoning will lead to good action.  

The great thinkers and philosophers have different perspective about logical reasoning around the world. Their ideas and thoughts have greatly influenced to change the world of modern times.
