In your community: people not catering and being supportive of everyone during the holidays
State community: states not requiring adequate WW2 history in class
In the us: disrespect at synagogue, or general anti Semitic speech from politicians (ex: making fun of nose)
Social media: Aryan look being promoted, still ingrained in the mind that blue eyes and blonde hair are what make someone beautiful. This was promoted by hitler in ww2
Well, both One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich and Gulag Archipelago did capture the harsh treatment in the Soviet prison camps.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn a Nobel prize winner was himself a gulag prisoner from 1945 to 1953, so his story was widely considered as an accurate depiction of everyday prison life in the gulags. Solzhenitsyn gave terrifying accounts of the working conditions for prisoners, such as working in an outdoor construction site in the deep winter without proper equipment or clothing. The book covered one of the cruelest and blackest moments of human history, it showed how wicked man could be to mankind, prisoners were made to work without food, and some were killed at any slight mistake. What makes it so pathetic was the murder of tens of millions of innocent Soviet citizens by their own Government, and it happened mostly during the rule of Stalin, from 1929 to 1953.
A warrior relied on his herd to provide him with staple foods of milk and meat; hide for their bowstrings, shoes and armor; dried dung (dried poop) to be used as fuel for his fire (poop is flammable); hair for rope, battle standards, musical instruments and helmet decorations; milk also used for shamanistic ceremonies to ensure victory; and for hunting and entertainment that often served as military training. If he died in battle, a horse would sometimes be sacrificed with him to provide a mount for the afterlife.
