Which of the following situations describes a historian using a primary source to learn about u.s president George Washington
kherson [118]
Maybe while we wait for the questioner to provide the options, we can do a little general discussion here about what it means to use a primary source. Primary sources are things that come from persons directly involved in the events or lives being studied.  So, any diary entries or letters of George Washington himself would count as primary sources.  So would any official proclamations or letters or government documents that came from Washington's pen as president.  Or the testimony of contemporaries of his who lived or worked with him would also count as primary source accounts.

So if you're looking for a historian's use of primary sources, look for the ways in which he's using historical material directly connected to the life of the person being studied.  In fact, if you were able to look at a set of the false teeth George Washington wore, that would be a primary source too.  They have a set at the Mount Vernon home/museum.  And by looking at those actual dentures, you'd see they weren't made out of wood like the old (false) story says!

grigory [225]

Answer: The first thing you need to know is the title of the game. The easiest way to figure out the rules is to access the internet and check for an official website or other source of rules. This is effective in most cases however if the game is obscure enough this may not be sufficient. You may have to ask the retailer you purchased it from about the game or contact the manufacturer. This is unlikely though because the question states that it is "brand new". So Essentially you need the title of the game, a source of information (preferably the internet), and optionally the manufacturer which you likely have

Which new England colony did not require all adults to attend church services
BigorU [14]

The New England colonists were predominantly Puritans who led strict religious lives. Laws in these colonies assumed that citizens who strayed away from conventional religious customs were a threat to civil order and should be punished for their nonconformity.

Roger Williams (1603 – 1683) was himself a puritan minister from Massachusetts Bay Colony. In his view, any civil authorities had no right to involve themselves in matter of faith. Banished from Massachusetts in 1635, he founded Rhode Island, the first colony with no established church and the first society in America to grant liberty of conscience to everyone.

Massachusetts Bay Colony was therefore the New England colony that did not require all adults to attend church service.
