The correct answer is A) During an antislavery convention, women activists were prevented from spreaking, which made them focus on women's rights.

Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were two highly influential women in developing the early women's rights movement.

At this time in American history, the abolitionist movement was gaining considerable momentum. The goal was to get rid of the institution in order to help African-Americans gain rights in American society.

This relates to women at this time, as they fought for rights for African-Americans and felt that a lot of these restrictions that slaves went through, women also experienced. Inability to vote, laws restricting their ability to own property, and several other restrictions resulted in women examining their role in society and demanding more rights. This w as especially true after the inability to speak at antislavery conventions.

Hi my dear friend,

In an article written in Life Magazine, John Foster Dulles then defined his policy of brinkmanship as "The ability to get to the verge without getting into the war is the necessary art." During the Cold War, this was used as a policy by the United States to coerce the Soviet Union into backing down militarily.

~Thank you
