This instilled Indian form of spirituality to the members and thereby inspired them to write songs. Most songs inspired by their trip in India was in their self-titled album "The Beatles" also known as "the white album" such as the songs original title "Maharishi" (the new title has words that cannot be put in this answer) and "Blackbird". Two other songs are released on the album "Abbey Road".
