The social stratification is the way in which society groups people according to social status. Weber said that the elements that intervene in the obtainment of this social status are the wealth which means the goods and properties, the prestige which means the respect with which a person or status position is regarded by others, and the power which means the ability to achieve their goals despite opposition from others.
