Hey there!☺

Answer:\boxed{8b-2}

Explanation:

5(b+2)+2b-12+b

Let's start by distributing.

(5)(b)+(5)(2)+2b+-12+b\\5b+10(5\times2)+2b+-12+b\\5b+10+2b+-12+b

Now we will combine like terms.

(5b+2b+b)+(10+-12)\\8b+-2\\8b-2

8b-2 is your final answer.

Hope this helps!

Can you guys help me with fractions I forgot over the summer. Please explain easily.
lisabon 2012 [21]
So in order to add the fractions together you need to first find a common denominator. For the very first problem you can use 63 as a denominator because 7*9=63. Now for the numerator. So you have 4/7 and 8/9. We just multiplied 7 by 9 so now we need to do that for 4 also. 4*9=36. Now we have 36/63. For 8/9 we multiply 8 by 7 to get 56. Now we have 36/63 + 56/63. Once you add those together you simplify your answer.

Highlighter pens cost $3. 86 per set at an office supply store. Which equation can be used to determine the price, P, of n sets
Leona [35]

Answer:

Total = ($3.86)n, but it ids not among the answer options.

Step-by-step explanation:

P would be equal to the price per pen set ($3.86) times the number of pen sets sold, n.

Total, P = ($3.86)n

I translated the paragraph into these options:

n = 3. 86P     No, n = P/3.86

P = 3. 86/n    No, P = 3.86n

n = 3. 86/P    No, n = P/3,86

P = 3. 86n.
