So, if this is beginning Spanish then I would say that you can state in your answer that the adjectives have to agree with the nouns in both number and 'gender' (feminine and masculine). Adjectives usually come after the word that it is describing in Spanish. You can only have one conjugated verb per clause.

Most people think that Cinco de Mayo is independence day, but it is not. The Mexican independence day is September 16 and is called the Grito de Dolores.

 

  Cinco de Mayo is a public holiday that celebrates the victory of the Mexican against France in the Battle of Puebla in 1862. General Ignacio Zaragoza and four more Mexican soldiers defeated the French army with ten thousand French soldiers. Mexicans felt great national pride.

May 5 is not a very important day in Mexico. But in the United States, we celebrate Mexican culture on this fun day, particularly in California and other regions alongside many Mexican-Americans. The biggest celebration takes place in Los Angeles, California

We celebrate the day with parades. mariachis and parties. In Arizona, there is a Chihuahuas race! We eat traditional foods like mole poblano and tacos. Mole poblano is a sauce from Puebla, Mexico. It is spicy and has a chocolate flavor
