Fortinbras is more focused on the honour of his country, Norway, but all Hamlet cares about is killing his fathers murderer. Hamlet's morals slow down the process of his revenge whereas Fortinbras' firm attitude makes him act faster.

Because it was pretty much saying 6 years without being home, and then he didn't recognized most of the people that were welcoming him home. I mean he obviously does have something to do with the war but it's more about him coming back home.
