Answer:

Option B, ATP

Explanation:

In the process of respiration, there are four major stages –

A) Glycolysis – In glycolysis, 6 carbon glucose is transformed into pyruvate along with release of ATP and conversion of NAD+ to NADH.

B) Pyruvate oxidation – Pyruvate is converted to Acetyl CoA along with release of CO2 and generation of NADH.

C) Citric acid cycle – Acetyl CoA combines with four carbon molecule to produce NADH, ATP, FADH2 and carbon dioxide is released.

D) Oxidative phosphorylation – In this last stage, NADH and FADH2 are converted back into NAD+ and FAD. Electrons flow back into the matrix thereby producing ATP.

Thus, it it clear that in the last stage of cellular respiration ATP molecule is produced.

Which characteristics can be used to classify the tree as a gymnosperm rather than “any other type of seed” plant?
erica [24]
1. Naked Seeds, Gymnosperm means 'naked seed' and these were the earliest trees to evolve. They do not produce flowers and have seeds which are directly exposed to the air for wind pollination. Pine cones are one example. For ease you might think of the gymnosperms as conifers, such as yew and Scots pine.
