                           2x - 4 = 5y

                           2x - 5y = 4

The sum of the internal angles in a triangle equals 180°

                          3(5y) = 180

                          2x - 4 = 5y

                          2x - 4 = 5(12)

                          2x = 60 + 4

                          2x = 64

                          x = 64/2

                          x = 32
