History

Answer:

America is a country of immigrants yes, but, it is a country of citizens. The thing about America is that it is the only country in which anyone could come to and have a chance to make it one merit alone. There were other factors such as race, however, there was not and never was a cast system. I hate it when people say "the middle class, or lower class. Say middle income, or lower income. We do not have a class system here.

Everywhere man has explored and conquered. That is just what men do. Even in the islands, the men would try to conquer one island over another. It is not just The white Europeans that conquered land. Everyone did it. So if the White Europeans did not come and immigrate, then others would have. The Spanish people were in America for 300 years before the Mexicans were. Then they were here for about 15 years. The Native Americans were here, but where did they come from? There are many theories about that.

All I know is that Men were inspired to come here. There were bad men who came here. The people at Jamestown were not good. The Pilgrims who came for religious freedom and ended up at Plymouth rock were good. Out of 18 mothers, 14 of them dies that first winter. Why? because they gave up their meager food for their children. They kept their children warn with their own bodies. They did that for the next generation. Those are the immigrants who wanted a place that people could come from all walks of life to live in freedom. To live in religious freedom. To live in complete autonomy. No master. No king. Just work for your own self. Earn from your own hands. I hope we can hold on to that.

If immigration is just coming for a handout, that is not America. If immigration is to bring slave labor, that is not America. America is meant to be a place of freedom and also a place that is an example for other countries to look to and follow. The world cannot all come here. It would have been impossible for America not to have a history of immigration. Men are naturally curious and they always went everywhere they could. They still continue to explore anywhere that has not been discovered. We go to space, to deep in the ocean, to the coldest places we can. Men naturally explore.

Which describes a mixed economy
DochEvi [55]

Mixed Economy:

The mixed economy in economics cohabits with the government's intervention in the market systems of allocating resources, trade, and commerce.

When a government gets involved to undermine free markets through the establishment of state-owned companies (such as public healthcare or education), legislation, incentives, tariffs, and taxation policies, it may create a mixed economy.

It is structured among true capitalism and true socialism, with a certain number of free-market components and social democratic elements. It is the combination of the aspects of capitalism and socialism.

Mixed economies generally preserve private control and ownership over most production processes but often regulated by the state. These type of economies are socializing industries which are considered essential.

Even if some economists question the economic consequences of different mixed modes of economics, they are all common in historical and contemporary economies.
