I think that what you're looking for is Manifest Destiny, the idea that it was natural, required and proper of the settlers to expand across the continent.

Some  connected this to God (that is, that God devised this expansion as His plan), but God is not always necessarily connected to this idea.

In the 19th century, there was widespread belief and conviction in the US that immigrants were predestined by the destiny of settling a whole North American continent to spread democracy and capitalism, as well as that the USA were predestined from God. Thus, in 1845, the phrase "manifest destiny" was coined, which expressed the philosophy that led to the territorial expansion of USA in the 19th century.

How did industrialization cause political and social changes in europe and the united states
zhuklara [117]

When it comes to the question of world industrialization, we speak of a process that has manifested itself in an extremely unequal way around the globe.

England was the country that first developed in this sense in the so-called First Industrial Revolution. Before that, only handicrafts and manufacturing were known, and there was no systematic production process guided by the presence of machinery, as occurs in factories.

Reflecting industrial development, we realize that the countries considered developed are precisely those that first industrialized. Thus, their social geographical spaces, although still presenting contradictions and inequalities, are more modern in relation to peripheral or developing countries. Moreover, even as large multinationals spread around the world, it is the rich countries that house their headquarters - particularly the so-called Global Cities, such as New York and London - and dominate the major forms of technology.

From the document, what inferences can you make about law and order in Aztec society?
Ira Lisetskai [31]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there is no document attached, the inferences that we can make about law and order in Aztec society is that the Aztecs were a very strict and well-organizaed society. Complexity characterized the Aztec legal society that aimed to maintain the law, order, and respect for the Aztec institutions. The Aztec emperor issued decrees that were followed by Aztec judges. These regulations passed from one generation to another generation. Many of those laws were carved in stone, in what was know as pictographs.

The great Aztec civilization was one of the most important civilizations in Mesoamerica and inhabited the region of what today is Mexico City. There, they built Tenochtitlan over a lake, their capital city.

What do you think needs to happen for protests and the fight for social justice to be successful?
Zepler [3.9K]
Many of the protest movements we have seen this year were catalysed by single events: moments which ignited long-held grievances and concerns. The most internationally recognizable is the murder of George Floyd in the United States, but there are many more examples of deaths or serious abuses that created a spark. While such sparks instigate sudden and intense swells of support, it can sometimes also mean that the resulting protests are disorganized
