7-5.5=1.5
so each drop leaf is 1.5
2×1.5=3
so 7 when both drop leafs are up
7-3=4
There's your answer

The length of the table when both leaves are folded up is 7 ft.

The length of the table when one of the leaves are folded up is 5.5 ft.

So if you do:

7 - 5.5 = 1.5

1.5 ft is the length of one of the leaves (remember the two drop leaves are the same size)

How long is the table when no leaves are folded up?

One leaf is 1.5 ft.

Since there are two leaves, the total length of the leaves is 3 ft.

7 - 3 = 4

[7 is the length of the table when both of the leaves are folded up, 3 is the length of both of the leaves]

4 ft is the length of the table when no leaves are folded up

Help would be appreciated
NemiM [27]
Hello!

First you have to find the area of the space

300 * 500 = 150000

Next you have to find the space 5 people take up

5 * 5 = 25

Divide these two numbers

150000 / 25 = 6000

multiply this by the amount of people take up that space

6000 * 5 = 30000

The answer is D)30,000 people

Hope this helps!

A convex figure has three sides what is the sum of its exterior angles
SashulF [63]

A convex figure with three sides is triangle. The sum of the measures of all interior angles of the triangle is 180°.

Let \alpha, \beta, \gamma be interior angles of this triangle. Then

\alpha+\beta+\gamma=180^{\circ}.

Find exterior angles of this triangle:

1. 180^{\circ}-\alpha is exterior angle adjacent to the interior angle \alpha.

2. 180^{\circ}-\beta is exterior angle adjacent to the interior angle \beta.

3. 180^{\circ}-\gamma is exterior angle adjacent to the interior angle \gamma.

The sum of the measures of all exterior angles is

180^{\circ}-\alpha+180^{\circ}-\beta+180^{\circ}-\gamma=540^{\circ}-(\alpha+\beta+\gamma)=540^{\circ}-180^{\circ}=360^{\circ}.
