I do want to point out that there is no " correct " answer in this case, but if you are referring to accuracy in terms of the calculations ( mean ) in this set, then I can understand.

1 and 2. An outlier is a value that does not belong to the set of values, considering their is pattern among the numbers. In other words it can be a number of high value, or a number of low value with respect to the data set. This throws the pattern of the set off balance, and does result in drastic changes in the mean.

Let's say that this is the following set - { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 }. A very basic set, but as you can see contains only 14 elements. This last element here will be the outlier, 100 - { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 100 }.

3 and 4 and 5. Assuming that this outlier was not present, I can tell that the set would have a mean less than when it was present. The mean is the average difference in the data set, and this outlier is greater than the other elements - greatly increasing the mean. The mean of the data set with the outlier is 13.67, and the mean of the data set without the outlier would be 7.5.
